DAY 5
Advancing your faith

“And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored, if indeed you continue to advance in faith, assured of a firm foundation to grow upon. Never be shaken from the hope of the gospel you have believed in. And this is the glorious news I preach all over the world.” Colossians 1:22-23 (TPT)
“God’s Word is both an anchor and compass for our soul. It is our light in the darkness and love in the chaos. It is our challenge and transforming power. Paul’s words point us to heaven and remind us that our true home is there.

Romans 12:3 speaks to the measure of faith that each one of us has been given. It is up to you what you will do with the measure of faith with which you have been gifted. You can either sit on it or bury it, or you can develop and grow your measure of faith into something beautiful and significant. I truly believe that these are days when you need to be growing the measure of faith with which you have been entrusted.

The truth of our lives is that sometimes the only way that we grow is to be put in situations that place a demand on our faith. So, be careful not to despise those times or fight against them, or look for someone or something to blame, but instead see them for what they are, and allow God to cultivate something good in you. Paul’s ministry was under attack and he often suffered physically as a result. Yet he never allowed his suffering to diminish his faith or message. Instead, he dug deeper and leaned harder on his relationship with Christ and was rewarded with incredible revelation and unshakeable faith that permeates his words, bringing him through to victory in every circumstance.
My prayer is that the measure of faith you possess will expand, and that new and awakened faith will cause you to walk into new and surprising spaces of His provision and faithfulness.
