On April 2, Vanity Fair, relying in large part on New York Post’s erroneous article, also published a story concerning Michael Guglielmucci claiming Mr. Guglielmucci was a former Hillsong pastor and Hillsong United band member. When a Hillsong representative reached out to multiple editors at Vanity Fair, multiple times, to alert them to these falsehoods, there was no response. When New York Post removed their original article, a representative of Hillsong reached out to Vanity Fair again to alert them to the falsehoods and that their story now contained a dead link to the since removed New York Post article. Again, there was no response.
The letter below was sent to Vanity Fair to demand that they correct their errors and print a correction. Once again, there was no response. As of the date of this posting, the false Vanity Fair story is still available, and still contains a dead link to a now non-existent New York Post story.
