Midweek Responsibilities
-A great lead stage hand has a firm grasp on the intricacies of the particular gear/stage package/setups of each venue and service/event type as well as our standard rider and may work with the TD to update and improve the patch list and streamline workflows to prepare for service.
-Works with rostering lead to ensure proper team rosters well in advance of service
Service Responsibilities & Call Times
• Arrive prior to call time to brief with TD
• Lead Stage Hands Team in the set up/pack down of the stage in accordance with and through a fluent knowledge of the current patch list and stage plot
• Establish a smooth, functional flow throughout setup/packdown by preempting and actively addressing things potentially overlooked, reducing workflow and pressure on the TD
• Maintain neat, clean, clutter free working environment through setup/packdown and a show-ready stage/venue environment well in advance of doors open
• Coordinate with the TD to transition team members to main auditorium auxiliary and external venue production setup areas as workflow depicts
• Train new volunteers
