Phil and Lucinda are the Lead Pastors of Hillsong Church South Africa. Together they were Youth Pastors of Hillsong United for many years prior and are well loved around the world. They moved to South Africa in 2008 and their heart is to build a church that builds this nation. They are a dynamic duo, gifted communicators and empowering leaders who are all about seeing people find Jesus and fulfill their God-given destiny..

Phil is dedicated to the next generation and is passionate about raising up strong leaders who will impact their sphere of influence, while Lucinda’s heart is to empower women to see them lead the charge in all areas of life including family, business and church life. Together they believe to see Africa impacted by the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Their vision is to see the power of the local church make an impact by uplifting communities and bringing hope to the darkest and seemingly insignificant places of South Africa. Phil and Lucinda’s prayer for Hillsong Church South Africa is that it will always be a church that is prepared to get dirty and help where it is needed.
