Grades 6 - 12

August 14 - 17, 2019

A week like no other, a week without distractions, a week with the sun beaming down your sun screened face whilst you’re splashing around with all your friends + making new ones and having the greatest time of your life!
Creating memories that will last a lifetime… a week that will absolutely CHANGE YOUR LIFE… that’s right SUMMER CAMP 2019!!

This is perhaps one of our favorite weeks of the year. Many can testify to what God has done in their own life, families & schools at through summer camp last year. What can usually take months or even years, God can do in a moment at summer camp.

Summer Camp offers the opportunity for young people to discover and learn values about identity, friendship, life choices, positive relationships and so much more. Through meaningful conversations and Bible-based messages from our youth pastors, Camp will encourage and empower young people for their lives.

From incredible worship, RDG time, and massive amounts of fun, camp will offer students a chance to continue taking steps to live out their God given purpose and calling. You won’t want to miss the water sports, zip line, tribal challenges, DJ’s, bonfires, baptisms, fun, laughter and more!!

All of our Youth leaders are required to have a background check, in addition to a leadership interview before being a part of our camps.

FAQ’s

WILL I RECEIVE MY REGISTRATION IN THE MAIL?

You will receive your registration via email and wristbands will be collected on the morning of camp at the location the student is departing from.

WHAT IF MY CHILD REQUIRES MEDICATION / OR HAS AN ALLERGY?

They can bring their medication to registration & drop it to the pastoral care team on site at each drop off location.

Where possible it would be great to include a step by step of how to administer it / how often it should be administered.
If your student has an RDG leader, it would be great to also touch base with them so they are aware of their need.

WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

This should be included within your registration under the ‘medical conditions’ field.

WILL MY STUDENT BE ABLE TO BE WITH THEIR FRIENDS?

YES. They can hang with their friends for afternoon activities and services no matter what tribe they are a part of.

WHAT IF MY STUDENT DOESN’T KNOW ANYONE?

Phone our church office (P: 646-968-2113) & ask to speak to Pastors Rafael + Jade DaSilva. We will work to assist you and your student in making a connection!

WHAT IS THE BASIC DAILY SCHEDULE OF CAMPS

Students will hear encouraging, empowering, faith filled messages from the team at Hillsong NYC.

We have amazing camp games that student’s will take part in throughout their time at camp.  Some will be part of their free time, and others during our formal program. There is also onsite lifeguarded swimming, basketball, volleyball, ping pong and foosball.

WHAT SHOULD NOT BRING TO CAMP?

Cell phones or personal electronics (iPads, laptops, personal gaming devices). Hillsong Church or Lake Champion  can not be help responsible for lost or stolen items.

Firearms, knives, fireworks, explosives, drugs, alcohol and all other contraband items. While we aren’t anticipating these to be an issue, if a student is found with any of these items, they will be sent home immediately.

A bad attitude. We have a ZERO tolerance bullying policy.
