We are the creative heart of Hillsong East Coast. Our team is made up of far more than just musicians & singers, Creative and Communications encompasses all areas from the seen to unseen, including (but not limited to) Production, TV, Social Media, Filmmaking, Photography, Graphic Design, Artist, Youth and Kids worship teams, Dancers, Writing, Lighting, Acting and Audio – all regular everyday people who choose to belong to this beautiful group of people.
During this season of church, all four of our East Coast campuses are able to come together online through our monthly Masterclasses, Team Nights, Connect Groups and soon to be House Parties!

Creative Masterclasses are an opportunity for the experts on our teams to teach and equip you with some of the tools of the trade that they’re most passionate about. They are also a GREAT way for you to learn, grow and engage with other team members! They are typically 1 hour long and cater to specific groups of people. These small class sizes allow you to ask questions and really get to know your trainers. It’s a chance for us to break up into smaller groups, to unearth new gifts in people, dig into one specific topic, and walk away more inspired, trained and equipped to use what’s in our hands. We laugh, we cry (some more than others), we share life and hopefully little by little become more Christ-like. When we gather together we find ourselves united around a common goal, we are able to articulate why we do what we do and Who we do it for.
Our team provides class topics around these three pillars: Biblical Studies, Leadership Development, and of course practical Creative Training. Join us for a night full of inspiration, creativity, and artistry.
There’s something pretty unique about Thursday nights at Hillsong Church. It’s the night that our creative community gathers, first in Australia and then slowly as the clock moves, right across the globe. It’s one of our favorite nights and we look forward to it with great anticipation and excitement as this is something we get to do TOGETHER as a global Church.
Our creative team has an incredible responsibility within our church to help create a picture of who God is through using the gifts and talents that we have been given. If you haven’t been to one yet, Creative Team Night (or affectionately called TMNGHT) is a special night where we gather as a Creative team to grow together in our community, in our calling, and in our leadership. During these nights we spend time focusing in on the heart and culture behind Hillsong Church and what it looks like being on a Creative Team. They are always special moments for our team. They take us forward exponentially.
TMNGHT is once a month hosted online on our Hillsong East Coast Youtube page at 7pm EST. It is an open invitation to gather and speak into the creative heart of our Church. We hope to see you there!
