A NEW HOME FOR THE NEXT SEASON
WHAT A MONUMENTAL DAY IN CHURCH!
We are so thankful for what God is doing at Hillsong Melbourne! Sunday we were privileged to hear an incredible word by Ps Tommy Barnett about "the greatest title - the title of a servant" across all our morning services. Not only was the word challenging and inspiring, but our East campus for the first time launched a second morning service and 2 new services times of 9:30am & 11:30am.
Sunday night as our church gathered together in the William Angliss Institute our Campus Pastor Tim Douglass announced that as of this Sunday, due to our church outgrowing our current venue, we will be moving to The Athenaeum Theatre on Collins St. This new facility is not only a stunning building but is also in the heart of our city awith room for us to grow. We are so thankful for what God has done and are expectant for all God will do in the next chapter of Hillsong Melbourne. The night then concluded with a powerful message of faith from Ben Houston on "Is it you?.... - If God is in this then nothing is impossible, i won't be afraid, the storm will calm and I will go".
We have another great week coming up in church life with connect groups, team night & youth so keep checking back for more details and more information about the new city venue!
THIS WEEKEND AT HILLSONG MELBOURNE
We are so excited to be adding a NEW SERVICE at our EAST campus THIS WEEKEND! PLUS MORE EXCITING NEWS!
We are so thankful for all that God has done in the past few months of Hillsong Melbourne as we launched forward into 2013. And this weekend is set to me another big step forward as we lauch another service in our East campus. Starting this Sunday our East campus will have brand new services times of 9:30am and 11:30am.
NOT ONLY THAT
But this Sunday night we can't wait to let you know some of what is in store for the future of our city campus at our 5:30pm service. The 5:30pm service is a powerful service as we gather as one church in the city. This weekend is going to be a poweful service so wherever you are from join us at the William Angliss Institute - 555 La Trobe St and be part of this!

HILLSONG FOUNDATION SUPPER - THURSDAY 16th MAY

WEEKEND RECAP
WHAT A WEEKEND!
Friday night was "one of those nights"as Sunday night visited Friday night. It was so great to have our Senior Pastor Brian Houston back in Australia and preaching an incredible message about this hope we have as an "Anchor".
"People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain" Hebrews 6:16-19 (NIV)
It might have been Town Hall but on Friday night as we gathered it became "church"
Sunday was another great morning across all our services. With a full house in both campuses we excitedly announced that our East campus will be adding a second morning service starting this week!
We took time to honour all the mums and women in our world and Alana Shepherd preached an amazing word on flourishing in all areas of our life. Of course what morning would be complete without tiny angels/fairies dancing to an incredible musical item #cutenessoverload

We have an exciting Mother's Day weekend coming up in church. It all kicks off this Friday as our Sunday PM service visits Friday night. Both our East & City campuses and friday night youth program will be meeting at Melbourne Town Hall for an incredible combined celebration as we join with other campuses to hear a great message from our Senior Pastor Brian Houston!
Sunday Morning will also be a special morning in church as we gather in our City & East campuses on Mother's Day.

WEEKEND RECAP
We are coming off the back of another incredible Sunday in the house. Tim Douglass preached a great word across all our AM services: "Is this it?" "New promises hold new challenges but new challenges always hold new promises". Then Jentezen Franklin turned up the heat in our 5:30pm service on "Teaching Angels to Worship" "What takes place when we CHOOSE to worship in the midst of our circumstances". It was also great to have Ben Fielding leading worship across our services.
This week is going to be another huge week in church with "Sunday night visits Friday night, then Mothers day AM services. This is going to be one of those weekends in church!

AFTER PARTY - 04.05.13
Tomorrow after all our AM services be sure to stick around for a great after party to connect with people. These will be help at both our City and East campuses. We will have free food, a jumping castle for the kids and more!

Tuesdays: all about connection
Our Connect groups on Tuesday nights are all about hanging out and catching up with that new friend you met on Sunday or just coming along for the 1st time to meet some new friends.
They are for everyone, so grab a friend and come hang out!

Wednesdays: Mums & Bubs
Our lovely mums meet together every Wednesday morning. It is a great time to grab a coffee with other mums and just take some time to chat, laugh and build some great friendships with other great girls at the same stage in life. Make sure to bring the kids too, we meet at places that the kids are entertained and have a great time too.
