40 Days of Deeper Devotion is an invitation to slow the already-hectic pace of life and intentionally make room for God. Like the Shunammite woman who prepared space for the presence of God in her home (2 Kings 4:9–10), we choose to prepare room in our everyday lives attentive, expectant and open to what He might say and do.
As we draw near to God, we trust His promise that He will draw near to us as we journey together toward Easter.
Below you’ll find a guided prayer focus to help you pause, pray, and stay connected with our church community across Australia. We encourage you to set aside a daily moment for prayer and reflection, engage in fasting in a way that is meaningful and appropriate for you, and use the daily prompts to guide your “ask, seek, and knock” prayers – we are in this together! May these days lead us into deeper devotion, a greater awareness of God’s presence, and renewed hope in the power of the resurrection.
