National Mental Health Week
Sunday 10th October is World Mental Health Day, and national Mental Health Week in Australia is recognised from 9th to 16th October. Over the past 18 months as individuals, families, and communities we have become aware of the significant importance of our health and wellbeing, including mental health. Core to our mental health and wellbeing is living with purpose and in community with others, looking after ourselves, having the skills to respond to day to day and life challenges, being in relationships with others and being mindful of the health and wellbeing of those around us.
Finding ways to look after our mental health and wellbeing is important. As a church, our heart is to help you in the most effective way possible and encourage you help is available. We have gathered a range of resources and support options on this website to support you and your wellbeing.
To access support from our pastoral care team, please call 1300 535353. You can also reach out to a range health professionals and support services. Our prayer is for God’s peace to be yours during this time.
