WA CAMP

12th-15th of January 2026

This year we are excited to announce that WA Summercamp will be at Busselton Baptist Camping Centre!

Busses will depart Monday, 12th of January and returning Thursday, 15th of January

WHAT TO BRING

  • Outdoor Tent (all students and leaders to bring an outdoor sleeping tent – we recommend sharing with your RDG)
  • Sleeping Bag
  • Sleeping Mat
  • Pillow
  • Bible & Notebook
  • Toiletries
  • Swimmers

  • Towel
  • Canteen Money (we recommend maximum $30)
  • Sleepwear
  • Outfits suitable for getting messy
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect Repellent
  • Hat
  • Water Bottle

WHAT NOT TO BRING

We recommend that you do not bring valuables. Any valuables brought will be the responsibility of the student who brings them.

CHILD SAFETY

This is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Event.

We have ensured volunteer venue control around the campsite throughout the duration of the event.

If your teenager is found to have broken one of our camp rules outlined, our Youth staff & team may require you to come & collect your teenager.

All of our leaders & workers are required to have an Australian-approved WWC clearance check, in addition to a leadership interview before being a part of our youth events.

WHERE WILL WA SUMMERCAMP BE IN 2026?

Busselton Baptist Camping Centre.

 

WILL THERE BE ANY MEALS?

Yes, all meals are provided and included in the registration cost. Any dietary requirements can be provided during registration.

 

WILL MY YOUNG PERSON BE ABLE TO BE WITH THEIR FRIENDS?

Yes!

Sleeping arrangements: These are separated by gender, however within that they can choose to sleep in the same tents/cabins as their peers.

Tribes: They can hang with their friends no matter what tribe they are a part of.

Activities: They can spend time with their friends for afternoon activities no matter what tribe they are a part of.

WHAT IF MY YOUNG PERSON DOESN’T KNOW ANYONE?

Please speak to your local Youth Pastor/Oversight who will be able to assist and help get your young person connected into an RDG. Camp is a great place to make new friends!

WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS MEDICATIONS/AN ALLERGY?

Please list all medical conditions, medications, or allergies when registering. Our team will ensure your child’s needs are managed safely throughout camp.

WHAT ARE THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AT CAMP?

Your child’s safety is our priority! We have paid security at the campsite at all times. All swimming activities will be supervised by lifeguards. Youth Leaders & workers are required to have an Australian-approved WWC clearance check, in addition to a leadership interview before being a part of our camps. All our activities are also subject to our risk-assessments.

WHAT KIND OF ACTIVITIES WILL THERE BE?

Activities include team games, water sports, night sessions, worship, RDG discussions, and much more!

CAN PARENTS CONTACT THEIR CHILD DURING CAMP?

Yes, there will be phone reception at the campsite for your teenager to contact you in case of emergencies or checking up on them. Although there are some areas at the campsite that may have poor reception.
