Certificate IV in Ministry
Our Certificate IV in Ministry course aims to develop your basic biblical foundations, principles for ministry, as well as general leadership and ministry skills. Through this course, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to make a meaningful contribution to ministry teams. In addition, you’ll get to choose a focus for your work integrated learning, in either Pastoral Leadership or Worship Music.
Course Stream Options
This focus will develop your ability and passion for ministering the Word of God, making disciples, fostering community, and building outstanding ministries within your local church.
This focus will fine-tune your craft as a vocalist, musician, or songwriter. Your practicum placement will collectively prepare you for real-life, creative ministry scenarios.

Entry Requirements
– Be at least 18 years of age by the time you start College
– Have successfully completed high school, or have equivalent post-school life and work experience.
– Be a committed Christian (for at least the last 12 months)
– Be a regular and active member of a local church (for at least the last 12 months)
– Be living a faithful Christian lifestyle consistent with our Student Code of Conduct.
– Agree to the Terms and Conditions of any Offer of Place, and to conduct themselves according to the requirements of the Student Handbook, including the Student Code of Conduct, up to and during the period of their enrolment.
To qualify for credit transfer your studies will need to be:
-With an accredited or recognised institution providing high quality training and education that is recognised by regulators and/or other colleges.
-In a field equivalent or related to Hillsong College’s courses, streams or subjects.
-Delivered at an appropriate post-high school level.
-Completed within the last 2 – 5 years.
