“DAY 4
Know the comfort of heaven

“I am contending for you that your hearts will be wrapped in the comfort of heaven and woven together into love’s fabric. This will give you access to all the riches of God as you experience the revelation of God’s great mystery—Christ.” Colossians 2:2 (TPT)

“You may be wondering how you are going to get through the challenges of the season you’re in right now. Perhaps the future is looking uncertain or overwhelming fear threatens to hijack your soul. Maybe you are longing for reprieve – for some comfort in the midst of the turmoil. Can I encourage you dear friend to take heart – help is at hand.
Isaiah 40:1 says, “Comfort, comfort my people, says your God.” The chapter ends by telling us that “Those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power”. (AMPC)

“In the middle of a world seemingly gone crazy, take time aside with God and wait on Him. He is the source of all comfort and as you look to Him, expect His help and anchor your hope for the future in Him, then you will find the comfort you so desperately long for. Something divine but intangible takes place when you wait upon the Lord – a heavenly exchange that will change and renew your strength and power. Isaiah records immense promise to rise up with wings like eagles; to not grow weary as you run, nor faint as you walk through the challenges of each day.

I really do believe the comfort of heaven, tangible and felt, is going to be a distinguishing mark in the days that are ahead. When you know the comfort of heaven it will become like an oasis that’s going to water souls who feel no comfort. You don’t have to look far to find people who are hurting, struggling or grieving. As an image bearer of your King, you can be there for others, offering divine comfort and a message of hope.

“I once heard these profound words from a priest that continue to resonate in my spirit. He said, When you see someone suffering, bend low, weep with them and then, when the time is appropriate, point them to Jesus.

My prayer is that the comfort of heaven will be tangible and felt as revelation-truth matures within you.
