Which stream will you choose?
Our Dance stream focuses on hip-hop dance technique, commercial dance and choreography. Hip-hop techniques include locking, popping, break dance and house, giving our students a well rounded repertoire and a high level of level of discipline. Our teachers are industry professionals, with dance and choreography credits with Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, BRIT Awards, X Factor, Boy Blue, Avant Garde Dance, The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar and others.
Our Vocal stream focuses on establishing foundational skills both in technique and character that contribute to a great vocalist/vocal performance. Our main focus is to help students reach their full potential, wherever they’re at on their vocal journey. Our teachers have experience performing in venues such as The O2 Arena, Wembley SSE Arena and West End theatres, and are passionate about bringing all they’ve learned (and continue to learn) to their classes.
Actors are the artists who bring stories to life. At Amplified Arts Academy we believe in training actors and preparing them to walk into the industry or further training, with passion, understanding, sensitivity and the skills to thrive, grow and make an impact. Our acting stream focuses on craft, creativity and collaboration, through fun and engaging classes, delivered by highly skilled teachers who are working professionally in the theatre/film/TV industries.
Our Music Stream offers classes in Drums, Guitars and Keyboards. Tuition focuses on theory and technique, offering students the opportunity to cultivate essential foundations that will help them excel in performance. AMP Music aims to develop musicians with confidence, discipline, and a high level of skill, through an interactive and holistic programme of musical education. Resident coaches and guest teachers have worked with Stormzy, Ellie Goulding, Little Mix, Tom Jones, Michael Bublé and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Pathways
Once you’ve chosen your stream, select the pathway below that works for you.
The Amplify Pathway caters to students who want to have fun and develop their skills. As well as providing a positive environment to make friends and build community, participation in arts subjects has been linked with promoting wellbeing, improving academic attainment and building confidence.
No audition is required for the Amplify pathway, and students can join throughout the year.
The Academy Pathway is aimed at those wishing to pursue a more intensive programme of training. The classes are designed to challenge and develop the expertise of exceptional students within their chosen discipline. There is a high-level of expectation required of the Academy students, and an audition is required.
Academy auditions take place each year in September and January.
