Here’s a little more about what 'tithe' and 'offering' mean.
We believe in the Biblical principle of tithing. In Malachi 3:10 (NLT) the Bible talks about bringing the first 10% (tithe) of your income into the storehouse (church). It is a regular act of worship, obedience and trust, helping support the ongoing vision, ministry and outworking of Hillsong Church.
An offering is giving over and above the tithe. Offerings are an opportunity to give generously towards specific areas of church life, mission, care and kingdom-building initiatives.
