HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

A JLP Room assistant is someone who serves in our age group rooms and assist the KDG leaders. There are two areas within the room assistant where you can serve:

Early Childhood Junior Leader
A Junior Leader in Early Childhood helps create a beautiful space for the preschoolers of Hillsong Kids. In the Early Childhood rooms the Junior Leaders will assist by helping the Hillsong Kids Leaders care for the children by playing with them, helping to bring the children inside for praise and worship. Lead in praise and worship and the preaching by singing along and doing all the actions, showing the kids how to listen and get involved.

Primary age Junior Leader
A Junior Leader in the Primary age groups will have the responsibility of helping our Hillsong Kids Leaders with the important tasks that ensure that a weekend service runs smoothly. The tasks include being an example to their friends throughout the service; as well as helping with set-up & pack-up, preaching, tithes & offerings, handing out information flyers and running games.

Atmosphere / BigWord Team: Do you love to dance?  The Big Word Team brings the atmosphere in the rally. They lead from the front row and do the Big Word memory verse dance on the stage with the worship team.

Lighting: Do you want to help run our rallies behind the scenes?  The lighting team helps to make our rallies bright and fun from the first praise song and throughout the entire rally.

Graphics: Do you love computers and helping our worship team?  The graphics team helps by putting the lyrics up on the screen, putting the pictures and scriptures up for preachers and helping everyone stay on time with timers and a runsheet!

Vocals: Are you learning to sing and would love to learn how to sing in our rallies? Come join our Worship Team by being a front line vocalist and to help carry the atmosphere of our rally from the platform!

A Junior Leader on our welcome team is apart of the first point of contact for our parents. The welcome team is the face of Hillsong Kids and being apart of this team, you will be a part of making everyone feel welcomed home, as well as being signed in to our programs efficiently and safely.
