God is looking for kids that live differently and stand out in their schools, sports clubs and with their friends. David in the Bible was a leader, he was young but he stood out and made a difference.

The Hillsong Kids Junior Leadership Program is our leadership development program for our kids at church. We believe in equipping the next generation to be leaders in all walks of life and in building God’s House.

In the Hillsong Kids Junior Leadership Program the kids will learn to stand out and be a great leader, a well as have an opportunity to serve alongside our Hillsong Kids team in building God’s House… The CHURCH!!!

We have no doubt that your children will learn more, grow more and have heaps of fun as part of the junior team in Hillsong Kids.

A JLP Room assistant is someone who serves in our age group rooms and assist the KDG leaders. There are two areas as a room assistant where you can serve:

Early Childhood Junior Leader
A Junior Leader in Early Childhood helps create a beautiful space for the preschoolers of Hillsong Kids. In the Early Childhood rooms the Junior Leaders will assist by helping the Hillsong Kids Leaders care for the children by playing with them, helping to bring the children inside for praise and worship. Lead in praise and worship and the preaching by singing along and doing all the actions, showing the kids how to listen and get involved.

Primary age Junior Leader
A Junior Leader in the Primary age groups will have the responsibility of helping our Hillsong Kids Leaders with the important tasks that ensure that a weekend service runs smoothly. The tasks include being an example to their friends throughout the service; as well as helping with set-up & pack-up, preaching, tithes & offerings, handing out information flyers and running games.

The welcome team is the face of Hillsong Kids and as a Junior Leader on this awesome team, you get to put your best foot forward and welcome everyone; including the adults! Being apart of this team means you will be a part of making everyone feel welcomed home, as well as being signed in to our programs efficiently and safely.
