Sisterhood Conference 2027

Hey Girls,

It is a great joy to invite you to Sisterhood Conference 2027, at the Hillsong Hills Campus, Norwest, Sydney.

We’ll be gathering around the theme, “Revival-Spirited Girls”. That’s all of us – the young, the middle, and the more mature! We’re hungry for more of God, carriers of a living flame, and called to be light-bringers in our worlds.

Beginning on Friday night, and all day Saturday, we’ll go deeper in worship, the Word, friendship, and prayer – positioning ourselves for Holy Spirit fire to fall. When God breathes on our surrendered hearts, even the smallest spark is fanned into an unquenchable flame.

So mark 12 – 13 March 2027 in your calendars, gather the girls in your world, and register for a transformative and refreshing conference experience!

Revival begins in our hearts.

Lynn H. Cohick (PhD, University of Pennsylvania) is Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Houston Christian University. She is a well-respected scholar and highly sought-after speaker who has authored, co-authored, edited, or co-edited over fifty works.

Dr. Cohick has delivered a keynote address in the main concert hall of the Sydney Opera House, and she has preached a Sunday morning service in a Masai mud hut in the Rift Valley near Mai Mahu, Kenya. She enjoys speaking and teaching on New Testament topics and women in the church, and exploring issues surrounding the historical relationship between Jews and Christians.

Dr. Cohick has authored, co-authored, and co-edited numerous scholarly books, chapters, papers, and projects. Her books include The Letter to the Ephesians in NICNT (2020); Christian Women in the Patristic World: Their Influence, Authority, and Legacy in the Second through the Fifth Centuries, co-authored with Amy Brown Hughes (2017); Philippians in The Story of God Commentary (2013); Ephesians in New Covenant Commentary (2010); and Women in the World of the Earliest Christians (2009).

She is also co-editor of the Dictionary of Paul and His Letters (2023), second edition, in the IVP Bible Dictionary Series, and contributed the Samaritan Women chapter to Vindicating the Vixens (2017), edited by Dr. Sandra Glahn.

In addition to being a respected scholar and writer, Dr. Cohick is a highly sought-after speaker. She has delivered papers, moderated and participated on expert panels, and presented talks and keynote speeches at conferences, lecture halls, and churches.

Dr. Cohick has greatly benefited from the encouragement she received from mentors and colleagues early in and throughout her career. She is eager to empower and encourage everyone who is gifted and pursuing the call to be used by God with their talents.

Since the early 2000s, Dr. Cohick has led study tours to Israel, Greece, Turkey, and Italy. She served for six years as President of the Institute for Biblical Research and for twelve years on the Board of Langham Partnership US.

She is a senior translator for the New Living Translation with Tyndale Publishing House and serves on the Board of Trustees at Biola University.

Dr. Cohick is the founder and President of the Center for Women in Leadership, a principal—alongside Dr. Sandra Glahn and Dr. George Kalantzis—of the Visual Museum of Women in Christianity, and the founder and host of the podcast The Alabaster Jar.

Lynn is married to Jim, and they have two adult married children. They are proud grandparents of two grandsons and two granddaughters.

Hayley Braun serves on the Senior Leadership Team of Bethel Church in Redding, California. She is an author, international speaker, and an Overseer within Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry.

Born and raised in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Hayley relocated to Redding, California, in 2008 to attend Bethel’s school, marking the beginning of over fifteen years of leadership within the Bethel environment.

Raised in the church, she developed an early and enduring passion for the Bride of Christ.

Hayley’s heart is to see believers walk in true freedom—fully transformed by the gospel, rooted in deep intimacy with God, and flourishing in healthy, connected community. Her life’s message is one of wholehearted devotion and complete surrender to Jesus.

Hayley and her husband, Ryan, have three children—Aiden, Liberty, and Ash. As a family, they value quality time together and meaningful connection within their community.
