Whether you’re new to faith, or wanting to find out more, let us walk alongside you!
New to faith?
Welcome to your new life of following Jesus!
These steps are not necessarily meant to be followed in any particular order, but they are key foundational elements. They are not a destination in themselves but more like signposts on the journey towards spiritual maturity.
A 21-Day guide to your new life in Christ! Each day explores various topics and ideas that all help to paint a picture of life with God can look like and concludes with a guided prayer and a passage of recommended Bible reading. Read it online here or get a printed copy at one of our locations after a service.
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions designed to start an open and honest conversation around some of the BIG QUESTIONS OF LIFE. Topics at Alpha include: “Who is Jesus?”, “Why did he die?”, “How do I read the Bible?”, “How do I pray?”, “Who is the Holy Spirit?”, and “Does God heal today?” It is an opportunity for anyone to explore faith. It’s relaxed, low key, friendly and fun and no question is out of bounds, too simple, or too complicated.
Water baptism is a powerful next step in your journey with Jesus as an outward declaration of the inward transformation He’s begun in your life. It’s not just a tradition but a sacred moment where your faith goes public; as you are immersed beneath the water it commemorates you dying to your old self and old way of life and rising to your new life in Christ. It is an act of obedience to Jesus as Lord and an act of allegiance to Him as Saviour.
God wants to empower you to live a different kind of life. This empowerment is what the Bible calls the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. God wants us to be totally immersed in His Spirit to enable us to fulfil His purpose and to live to be God’s witnesses, to use spiritual gifts (like speaking in tongues and prophecy),and to bear fruit for Him: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses” (Acts 1:8).
TALK TO YOUR CAMPUS PASTOR
The journey of faith is not one you can do by yourself; in serving alongside others or gathering around a table (whether it’s in a café, a living room, or a park) we share life, grow in faith, and encourage one another to step into all God has called us to be. Get connected in a local campus and discover a place to find family and friendship, to be prayed for, supported, and to do the same for others.
