“Young Leaders Academy is awesome. My highlight is the community I’m in. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by young people who have a burning heart for Jesus and want to lead others to him. I also enjoy the post-class theological conversations. My favourite subject so far is Intro to the Bible. The Bible is so important in the Christian faith, and I always want to learn more. The Intro to Bible unit covers all books from Genesis to Revelation, looking at the context, chronology, and key insights that change the way you read, know and love the Bible. YLA has helped me grow in my understanding of leadership and what it means to be a Christian leader. If you love Jesus, want to know him more, and want to be equipped to lead others to Christ, then this course is for you!”

“We started our Certificate III in Christian Leadership in 2023 with some curious and passionate students, our Bibles and an inclination that this was the beginning of something good. This course has been transformative in the lives of those who are in the course. Students have been engaged with scripture more effectively and the course has deepened their understanding of the Bible. Students have commented that the structure of learning and practical assessments have made the course relevant and enjoyable, and the emphasis of Christian Leadership provokes them to enlarge their perspective of how they can personally lead and become examples of Christ. We have seen our Christian Leadership students actively seek out opportunities to serve within their churches but also within the school community. Overall, this qualification has been instrumental in shaping the students understanding of the Word, and I am excited to see where God will lead those that enter the course at our school, as they continue to grow in their knowledge and love for Him.”

“My biggest highlight of Young Leaders Academy has been creating a community and learning from so many different lecturers and church teachers, it’s also opened up so many opportunities and allowed me to grow so much as a person. Every subject has been my favourite and has grown me so so much as a Christian, My relationship with God is where I never thought it could be and I have incredible in depth knowledge of the Bible I could have never ever gained without the course. My favourite subject from the course has been the Leadership skills unit. It was really timely for me as I got a leadership position at school and all the skills were easy to apply.
