Bio
Duncan Corby has been a devoted member of Hillsong Church for over 40 years, with 28 of those years spent serving in various pastoral roles. He has contributed significantly to the life of the church, particularly through his long-standing involvement with Hillsong College, where he has served as Senior Lecturer and a key member of the College’s leadership team for 28 years. His leadership roles at the College have included positions such as Campus Principal, Academic Dean and, more recently, General Manager.
Duncan is a graduate of Hillsong College's ministry training program and holds a Bachelor of Science (Sydney) and a Master of Theology (Manchester). His thesis work (an analysis of Paul’s teaching on giving and prosperity) and his ongoing development as a lecturer and thinker highlights his deep commitment to theological scholarship.
With extensive experience in teaching Bible studies, leadership, and apologetics, Duncan has made significant contributions as a preacher and teacher across the life of the church. He is passionate about equipping leaders with a biblical and well-thought-through faith that is powerfully relevant in today’s world, along with a solid leadership philosophy and skill-set.
In July 2024, Duncan was appointed as the Head of Ordination for Hillsong Church globally, where he is responsible for overseeing the ordination process and ensuring that ordained leaders are well-prepared and supported to fulfill their calling. He is committed to building Hillsong Church, its people, and its vision for reaching and influencing the world. He is especially passionate about training and releasing thousands of leaders into ministry around the globe, in this generation and the next.
Bio
Margaret Aghajanian has been a part of Hillsong Church for 36 years and is deeply committed to supporting the church community through pastoral care and wellness initiatives.
Since 2008, Margaret has served in various pastoral care roles, focusing on women’s ministry and the Hills Campus. In 2011, she stepped into the role of National Pastoral Care Oversight for Hillsong Church in Australia. Through this role, she worked to develop practical strategies to care for church members and provide ongoing training for pastors and volunteers.
Margaret is passionate about equipping leaders and volunteers to navigate challenging issues within their church communities. She has collaborated with experts to deliver training on important topics such as Suicide Prevention and responding to Domestic and Family Violence. In 2022, her team’s work in mental health advocacy helped Hillsong become the first church in Australia to receive accreditation as a Skilled Mental Health First Aid Workplace.
In August 2023, Margaret completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Supervision, which she now draws on to offer thoughtful support and guidance to Hillsong pastors and staff.
In July 2024, Margaret was appointed to the role of Global Wellness Oversight within the Ordination team. In this role, she works collaboratively with Hillsong’s global church to strengthen the ordination and wellness processes, focusing on initiatives that enhance the quality, development, and support of pastoral teams across the church.
