Midweek Responsibilities
-Individual Practice; setting aside time to develop and grow as a vocalist.
-Confirm/Decline Planning Center rosters in a timely manner.
-Review, prepare and practice for each song that is posted on Planning Center for the service that you are rostered for.
-Attend Team Nights, Vocal Rehearsals, Workshops and Training Nights.
-Logging ‘Block Out’ (unavailability dates) on Planning Center as far in advance as you can.
-If you are suddenly unable to fulfill a confirmed rostered position, let your oversight know as soon as possible.
Service Responsibilities & Call Times
-Arrive on time for your allocated Call Time.
-Bring your own in-ears. If you do not have your own, arrange a pair to use in advance.
-Follow platform dress etiquette, as expressed in the Dress Code brief on Planning Center.
-Receive direction and feedback from the service Vocal Director and/or Worship Leader as given.
-Be attentive and focused during rehearsals.
-Support the Worship Leader during the service by singing confidently and consistently. Support the service by engaging with the MC, the Speaker and by using your body language; BE PRESENT.
-Sit in during the Services and support the Speaker.
-Contribute to the atmosphere; don’t switch off just because you have left the platform.
-Attend the service debrief following your rostered services.
