LITERACY

Our READ initiative aims to combat the high rate of illiteracy in South Africa. READ works in partnership with local schools and libraries in underprivileged areas, equipping classrooms through book donations, encouraging teachers through our Teacher Appreciation Days and championing learners through reading programs and our Annual Spelling Bee.

The Hillsong Africa Foundation helps build up local primary schools to grow stronger in literacy education, helping children to reach their God-given potential.
