Defined By Jesus

Available: In Person at Hills Campus and Online

The Defined by Jesus course addresses how our upbringing has impacted the development of our mind, our perception of our calling, and what Jesus says about it through His word. Sometimes, this is worlds apart from how we grew up or the environment we find ourselves in. This study aims to give us practical tools to unravel what’s going on and continue the journey we all find ourselves on as Christians … to be like Jesus.

Topics include

  • Foundations of our lives – Identify how neural pathways are created, how they form patterns and how attachments are formed
  • The game-changer – we then investigate a process called neuroplasticity so we can change the patterns!
  • We are new creations – we can get laser beam specific about who we are in Christ, we have a new identity, and God has called us to spheres of influence across our planet
  • Tools for change – we then focus on some efficient tools to help refocus on being defined by Jesus … not by everything else
  • Bigger Dreams – we are created to dream big and change our planet for Him. How? If Jesus is the centre of every sphere of life, then we are practically moving into a Renaissance.

God Conversations

Available at Hills Campus or Online

Jesus promised that we would be able to hear his voice and follow (John 10:27). The Holy Spirit was given to the church so that everyone – sons and daughters, young and old – could all hear from God in the same way as the Old Testament prophets (Acts 2:17, Num 12:6). The Spirit speaks today to continue the mission and ministry of Jesus. When we hear the Spirit for ourselves, we will experience the life-changing and miraculous work of God in and through our lives!

Prophecy is a gift of the Spirit that enables us to minister to others with (1 Cor 14:3). When we prophesy, we express God’s heart for others to build them up.

Led by Rev Dr Tania Harris of God Conversations*, this 3-week course will equip you to recognise and respond to God’s voice and empower you to operate the gift of prophecy.

In this course, you will learn:

  • God’s nature as a communicator
  • What God’s voice sounds like
  • How to recognise God’s voice among others
  • How to position yourself to hear from God more clearly and regularly
  • How to hear God’s voice for others…how to prophecy

On a practical level, you will be given an opportunity to participate in exercises and workshops to apply what you’re learning.

Course Dates : 7th, 21st & 28th August
Cost: $60
