Hillsong is a contemporary Christian church. Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus, we have a heart for authentic worship, are passionate about the local church, and are on mission to see God’s kingdom established across the earth.
Hillsong Church was founded by Brian and Bobbie Houston in 1983 in the western suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Now Hillsong has churches in city centres in 28 countries around the world. The church has an average global attendance of 150,000 weekly. In 2023 Phil and Lucinda Dooley took over as Global Senior Pastors.
Freimut and Joanna returned from Sydney and planted the church in Constance in 2004. After a few years they were able to expand to Dusseldorf, Zurich, Munich and in 2020 Hillsong Vienna was launched.

GROW COURSE
The Basics course is for anyone who wants to learn more about the basics of faith or Hillsong Vienna. Whether you are new to Hillsong Vienna or have been coming for a while - this free course is for you! Basics consists of three units and always takes place Sundays after the service.
