Day 2 | Not found lacking

Dec 18 2020

“DAY 2
Not found lacking

“We pray that you would walk in the ways of true righteousness, pleasing God in every good thing you do. Then you’ll become fruit-bearing branches, yielding to his life, and maturing in the rich experience of knowing God in his fullness!” Colossians 1:10 (TPT)”
“The goal of our Heavenly Father is that we are equipped for all that lies ahead. None of us know what the future holds, or what is around the next bend of His will and purpose for all our lives. The irresistible heart of God searches relentlessly to bring His children to a place of maturity. He does this through processes that position us with the intent to fashion us to become all He created us to be. Of course, the outcomes of these processes rely on how we choose to respond.

A transformed heart will set you in good stead for the future. The future is important, and the clutter of life can seriously cloud your ability to see ahead with clarity. This is the time to allow God’s light to shine into those areas of clutter and cloudiness in your heart, and allow Him to transform you. Perhaps you’re doing well right now – that’s amazing! Keep moving forward. But if not, remember, there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1) and today is a new day with new mercies (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Our hearts are in need of transformation; a process of redemption that begins at the moment of our salvation through the shepherding of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 51:10, Titus 3:4-6). That redemptive process brings us to a place of wholeness and maturity to become a person who reflects the image and likeness of God. My prayer is that you will search your own heart in this season and not be found lacking; that all the dislocated pieces of your heart and your world will find their place and fix in and through the blood of Christ.
