Giving

The strength of Hillsong Church can be found in the generosity and commitment of its people. Proverbs 21:26 speaks of ‘the godly love to give’ (TLB); this is seen in those serving in church services and through those who financially support the church and its initiatives.

We believe in the Biblical principle of tithing. In Malachi 3:10 (NLT) the Bible talks about bringing the first 10% (tithe) of your income into the storehouse (church). Tithes and Offerings received at Hillsong fund the vision and activities of our church.

Heart for the Mission Offering

Equal Sacrifice, Not Equal Giving. Our annual Heart for the Mission offering is a sacrificial offering we bring collectively over and above tithes and offerings to expand the mission, vision, and reach of Hillsong Church and maximise the opportunities God has put before us, ultimately to make Jesus known.

Heart for the Mission Sunday

Over one weekend, we all personally bring what we have prayerfully decided to give—contributing to an offering that enables us to take a giant leap forward in fulfilling the vision God has placed before us.

We encourage you to prayerfully consider your Heart for the Mission contribution. Remember, our church is not built on the gifts and talents of a few, but on the sacrifice of many.

As the heart-breaking crisis in the Ukraine escalates, our ‘Ukraine emergency relief appeal’ will enable us to respond to the needs of our church and the people of the nation as required. It will enable us to provide food, clothing, accommodation and emergency supplies where it’s most needed.

Hillsong Church Netherlands has ANBI status, which makes giving tax deductible for Dutch tax payers. With a giving agreement, also giving above 10% is tax deductible. Please email us at [email protected] if you have any questions about this.

In Belgium it is not possible to deduct the giving from taxes.

Heart for the Mission

Heart for the Mission exists to finance the outworking of Hillsong Church’s vision, and partner with like-minded non-profit organisations across the globe in an effort to bring care and justice to vulnerable groups in the name of Jesus.

You can participate in Heart for the Mission by becoming a Faith Mission Partners. We also offer opportunities to participate through our annual Heart for the Mission offering in June each year.
