In our inaugural Instagram Live session for “40 Days of Deeper Devotion,” Katie Schrack and  Lauren Koblischke explored the significance of the Noah’s Ark story in the context of Lent and the journey towards Easter. They discussed how God’s covenant with Noah mirrors His promise of salvation through Jesus’ sacrifice; how God closed the door on the Ark but now through Jesus we have an open door. Reflecting on Psalm 51, they emphasised the importance of sincere repentance and reliance on God’s grace. As we embark on this Lenten journey, we’re called to self-reflection, surrender, and a communal commitment to God’s mission. Through prayer and reflection, we seek to deepen our devotion and spread His love to others.

1. What are the areas of our lives we have not surrender to God?
2. In what areas of our lives do we need to repent?
