It is less than a week till Hillsong Conference and we are busy preparing everything for you! It is an exciting time of the year for us but as always when the Church gathers at a conference like ours, we want to leave a “felt impact” of God’s love on the community.

Last year your extraordinary generosity meant that over children from underprivileged schools received filled pencil cases so that they could participate fully in school.

This year we are partnering with our local program running a mobile shower service for the homeless of our city. On any given night in Australia 1 in 200 people are homeless. Those who find themselves homeless and living on the streets have no way of keeping warm, with often severe effects on their health.

Through our local impact project we are giving you the opportunity to give those sleeping rough in the streets of Sydney, a gift of warmth.

If you want to contribute please bring along one of the following new/unused items:

• Gloves
• Scarves
• Beanies
• Socks

These items will be distributed through our CityCare and One Voice NSW Mobile Shower bus service for the homeless which provides a safe and clean space for those sleeping rough to have a shower.

The drop off point for these items will be at the NSW Mobile Shower Bus in the main forecourt.
