IT’S OUR BIRTHDAY AND WE WANT TO CELEBRATE WITH YOU!

This year we are taking some time to celebrate and remember all that God has done in and through us.

The past year has been a year filled with loss, anxiety, suffering, and so much more, yet God reminds us to CELEBRATE in the midst of the season. He reminds us of the true meaning of celebration: to observe, honour, acknowledge, step out, memorialise, and remember. How amazing is that?

Let’s journey together and prepare a celebration where we remember the milestones, moments and miracles.

“I’m on this journey of sanctification where I am going from glory to glory, faith to faith, and grace to grace. I have this tapestry of community that I am part of that is helping to reshape and mold me into the person I want to be.”

“It was July 2013, my son was twelve at that stage, Hillsong was still at the Town Hall and he wanted a lift. I wasn’t saved at that time and I thought I will just take him to church and be very low-key. I was sitting in church, my arms folded, and didn’t interact or worship really, but I was unaware that God’s word will not return void, and slowly but surely God’s word saturated my heart.

Almost one year later, in April 2014, my Mother-in-law bought me a ticket for Colour and it was on the Sunday at church together when we sang oceans and I just had that moment. I realised that I am His and He is mine. I surrendered my life to Jesus, right there in the Grand West.

That same year in September, I got baptised at Hillsong Somerset West and something amazing happened. I entered the water and came out of that water set free and delivered from 22 years of addiction.

I am so thankful for God and His faithfulness in my life. I have been sober for 80 months now and currently helping to facilitate the F.I.R.E course in Somerset West where I can help others and be part of their journey in freedom.”
