MEN’S CONFERENCE 2023 | GO IN STRENGTH
Men’s Conference is where the men gather to get inspired, equipped, challenged and refreshed for the future. We truly believe that something significant happens when the men gather, and we believe in seeing men grow in all areas of their lives to be all that God has called them to be.
This year, we believe that God will speak to us to “Go in Strength.”
The Lord turned to him and said, “Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?”

As men, we can take responsibility for our lives, our families, our communities, and our nations and take hold of everything that God has in store for us in the strength that He has given us. This year, we have the honour and privilege of having Pastor Chris Mathebula with us for Men’s Conference, as well as Pastor Donavan Cassell in Gauteng!
Pastor Chris Mathebula is a remarkable man who has dedicated his life to spreading God’s love, hope and resilience in his community. He is the Senior Pastor at Hope Restoration Ministries in Johannesburg and is well-loved by our church. Pastor Chris received a vision for their church when he was still a student pastor at the Cape College of Theology, and today, he’s living our that dream from God of restoring hope to His people. He is a profound communicator of God’s Word, encouraging those around him to embrace their true potential. Pastor Chris deeply values the role men play in the body of Christ, and he looks after the Men’s Ministry within their church. He has a strong conviction and belief that all men need encouragement, teaching, fellowship, and the modelling of Christian life from other men to walk in obedience and grow in God’s image.
Pastor Donavan Cassell is a dynamic and gifted communicator who has committed his life to sharing the transformative power of God’s Word. Pastor Donavan, along with his wife Shelley, are the Senior Pastors of Imagine Church in Johannesburg. It is their belief that we are saved, called, purposed and graced for living an empowered life as a Christ-follower. Warriors, the Men’s Ministry at Imagine Church, focuses on encouraging men to rise up, stand firm, and be steadfast and immovable despite the challenges of this world. With a dedication to both faith and leadership, Pastor Donavan brings a wealth of wisdom and experience to Men’s Conference, and we are excited and expectant to hear from him.

7pm – 9pm (rugby screened at 9pm)
Saturday
8:30am: Registrations and breakfast on sale
Cape Town: 9:30am – 3pm
Gauteng: 9:30am – 1pm
