Our heart for every person is that they will feel welcome, find their place, discover their purpose, and grow and move forward in every area of their lives. We recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary as a church, and God has done some incredible miracles in the lives of people. But we are even more expectant for all that is to come. We can’t wait for more people to encounter JESUS, and we truly believe that revival is in our midst. This means launching new locations and upgrading existing facilities that will equip us as we steward all that God has entrusted to us. It is the greatest honour to be part of what God is doing, not only in our beautiful nation, but across the entire continent of Africa. The best is yet to come for South Africa and Africa!
Our Locations Across South Africa
Hillsong Century City
Our Hillsong Century City location is our oldest campus. We started out in the CTICC 10 years ago and look how far we’ve came. Century City is a prime location in the midst of so many new business and residential developments. We truly believe that God has positioned us in a perfect location to make a difference and be a light to the World.
We have many new exciting projects that we want to take on, including our very recent one, a multi-story car park right next to our building. We love that this location is filled with many different stories of people with different backgrounds and cultures. We are excited to see the story unfold and know that there is more for Century City!
Hillsong Southern Suburbs
We call it the ‘Global Main Location’ (a little joke that goes around the community of the South). However, we truly believe that the potential within this location is endless. We would love to continue building Hillsong Southern Suburbs and make it HOME to everyone who walks through our doors. We know that we are called to be an outreach church that helps to build and uplift the Southern Suburbs area.
Hillsong Johannesburg
Our Jozi location is a place of golden opportunity and infinite possibility.
The future entails bringing further life to the theatre by transforming it into a state-of-the-art building which we believe will invigorate and activate the immediate urban context by developing a rich, multi-purpose cultural collective, branded and marketed simply as “The Alex”.
Our vision for Jozi is to see our city, and all who live in it, experience the love and touch of Jesus and be forever transformed as they live a life of freedom in Him.
Hillsong Wonderboom
We love that despite preconceived ideas, Wonderboom is a melting pot of diversity that brings different cultures of our nation together. There is nothing quite like looking over our congregation on a Sunday and seeing the great representation of every culture, race and age. We are in the process of developing our ‘Container Café’ which will be open mid-week to serve our community. People will look at Wonderboom not seeing a forgotten part of north Pretoria but a place where they can belong; an oasis of hope, freedom and innovation where world-class leaders are raised up to impact every sphere.
Hillsong Gugulethu
Our heart is to bring HOPE into the seemingly insignificant and dark places of this nation, and that just about describes our Hillsong Gugulethu location. This unique location is vibrant, energetic and such a close-knit community. We are currently looking at the purchase of two pieces of land to build our own multi-purpose church home! We would love to see this location thrive with a state-of-the-art kids program that will accommodate hundreds of children during the week, providing them with a future and hope.
Hillsong Somerset West
We believe our Somerset West location will bring hope to the entire Helderberg area. This diverse community is a taste of what South Africa could look like, plus who wouldn’t want to have a beach in their back yard? We are excited to give this location a ‘face-lift’, starting with the auditorium to the overall look and feel in the foyers. We are looking to make the café fully functional mid-week and we would love to build an awesome outdoor playground as part of our Kids Facility that will bless the community. We are building a church to build the Helderberg region and beyond (hello, Hermanus and Elgin). We will not stop until every person, family, school and business has been impacted by the love of Jesus.
Hillsong Centurion
Our Hillsong Centurion location is a room filled with significant and influential people. Our greatest desire is to see the families in Centurion restored and healthy- creating a sense of community that will serve our city. We are believing for an amazing permanent venue that can be utilized throughout the week – a place where we can really make ourselves at home. This will be an incredible opportunity to put a stake in the ground, build into our community and see change in our city!
Hillsong Mitchells Plain
Our Mitchells Plain church family is known for its passionate worship and the ability to worship even when circumstances are not ideal. It’s a community brimming over with potential and a hunger for God! Our heart is to be a beacon of hope to our surrounding communities and through upgrading our Kids Facilities, we want to make sure every young person knows that there is a place they can call home.
Hillsong Stellenbosch
Our Stellenbosch location is situated in one of the most beautiful and influential parts of South Africa. We have the opportunity to reach out to 35 000 students, many families and working adults around us. We believe to see a great revival happen by building a large, influential church that will impact all spheres of society. We are excited to see all that Hillsong Stellenbosch has to offer the surrounding communities.
