Children need families. Families need communities. Our goal is to see children thriving within resilient families and safe, inclusive communities which embrace vulnerable children and their parents or carers.
PLAYGROUP
Parents and caregivers meet on a weekly basis during school terms with their babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. Playgroup offers children a wide variety of play-based learning experiences, an opportunity to interact and play with other children of similar age, and carers and parents an opportunity to meet with others and share ideas and experiences.
FAMILY COACH
Vulnerable families are matched with a mentor for 12-18 months to provide a consistent source of support and to increase resilience and achievement of significant life goals.
OUR VILLAGE PROJECT
Our Village Project exists to encourage more people to consider opening their homes through Foster Care and to provide holistic support for families engaged in Out-of-Home Care, in order to provide placement stability on a child’s road to permanency.
*Currently being piloted in Melbourne.
FINANCIAL HOPE
A financial management short course is offered to families
in the community to increase skills and confidence in household financial management to reduce parent and household stress and avoid crisis.
*Currently being piloted in Sydney.
