Children need families. Families need communities. Our goal is to see children thriving within resilient families and safe, inclusive communities which embrace vulnerable children and their parents or carers.
Playgroups are run to increase social connections for vulnerable families, increase knowledge and confidence in parenting and child development, and to support healthy early childhood development.
Vulnerable families are matched with a mentor for 12-18 months to provide a consistent source of support and to increase resilience and achievement of significant life goals.
A safe, consistent meeting place is provided for families to increase opportunity for social connection and avenues to access local services and support.
FOSTER CARE SUPPORT & RECRUITMENT
A pathway to recruit, guide and support Foster Care families, increasing parental capacity and resilience while providing social and material support, and supporting vulnerable children with placement stability.
A financial management short course is offered to families
in the community to increase skills and confidence in household financial management to reduce parent and household stress and avoid crisis.
