Creative Technology Team

Technical Director

The TD is the onstage facilitator between pastors, events, creative producers, musicians and other operators. A TD must have great communication skills and be able to pass on
information to teams clearly and on time. A TD also knows how to fill the gap if communication falls through.

TD Assist

The TD Assist is the onstage facilitator between musicians, operators and TD. Has to have great communication skills to pass information to the TD clear and on time. Understand and be familiar with Stage signal flow and technical language.

FOH (Front of House)

This person operates our Front of House Audio desk. They are prolifant in audio technologies and are accomplished sound engineers.

FOH Assist

The FOH Assist is the Right Hand for the FOH Operator. They are there to assist the operator share in some of the responsibilities, and by doing so, further their learning in audio and
mixing. They need to have great communication skills to pass information to the operator clear and on time, as well as being proactive in building trust and confidence with the operator. They will also need to be familiar with stage, terminology, and importantly, the sound of our house.

Monitors

The monitor engineer is responsible for mixing sound for each person who walks on stage. The PA System is designed to cover the audience and intentionally misses the stage. As such, separate monitoring is required for the platform team to hear themselves and each other on stage.

Monitors Assist

The Monitors Assist is the Right Hand for the Monitor Operator. They are there to assist the operator share in some of the responsibilities, and by doing so, further their learning in audio
and mixing. They need to have great communication skills to pass information to the operator clear and on time, as well as being proactive in building trust and confidence with the operator. They also need to understand and be familiar with all visual communication from stage and stage managers to ensure the operator gets the message if they miss it.

Director/IMAG

This person sits in our TV control room and controls 100% of the content delivered to our screens. They use an TV control desk to control this content. This person also communicates to the camera operators to help get the right visuals.

IMAG Assist

This person helps the Director with creating visual graphics for worship and in-service media.

Producer

This person oversees the Control room, they are in charge all of aspects that involve TV, and know the in’s and out’s of the service and are the point person for all communication from the Control Room.

Camera Operator

This person operates our Camera equipment (which is already pre-set) they look for creative and fresh visuals that can be put on screens by the Director.

Lighting Operator

This person uses our lighting rig and lighting console to help create an awesome atmosphere of worship. They also compliment all sections of our service to ensure that what is happening on platform is easy for people to see and is not distracting.

Head Stage Manager

The Head Stage Manager is there to facilitate all movements of team on and off the stage, as well as the actively preempting their fellow team by communicating what is, or is about to happen onstage. Beyond this, we help any request from a service producer or a speaker onstage. As a stage manager, timing, communication, and tact are all key to the role. This ensures all services flow smoothly and are free from visual or audio distraction (such as a mic not being called).

Photographer

The photographer is rostered to help capture all of the great things that happen throughout our services. After capturing the photos they are then uploaded to our Photo Stream and used by our pastors and our media team.
