Emergency Relief Partner

We have a longstanding partnership with World Vision, particularly in responding to humanitarian emergencies and disasters. World Vision is an international community development organisation that has been engaging people to work towards eliminating poverty and its causes for six decades. World Vision provides short- and long-term assistance for 100 million people worldwide. Through relief and development, policy advocacy and change, collaboration, education about poverty, and emphasis on personal growth, social justice and spiritual values, World Vision works with people of all cultures, faiths and backgrounds to achieve transformation.

Most recently, we have partnered with World Vision through the Syria Crisis Response. World Vision has been responding to the needs of Syrian refugees in the region since 2012 and have been working across northern and southern Syria for over two years, responding to the immediate and ongoing needs of displaced civilians. World Vision were ready and positioned for the Aleppo evacuations of 2016 with highly trained local staff, prepositioned emergency aid supplies and strong partnerships with local Syrian non-government organisations. World Vision assists the most vulnerable people through providing access to food, water, sanitation and hygiene services, shelter and emergency supplies such as blankets and warm clothing for winter. World Vision also provides Child Friendly Spaces for children to learn, play and receive psychological support.
