BESÖK CAMPUS WEBBPLATSEN

We believe in the biblical principle of tithing. In Malachi 3:10, God invites us to bring the first ten per cent of our income into his house, the church. Through this practical act of trust, we honour God whilst supporting the vision and work of his church.

God invites us to partner with him to build his church and make his kingdom visible in this world. As followers of Jesus, we share the responsibility of advancing the church’s vision through our gifts, our time and our finances. Generosity is a biblical principle, and we believe that through our giving we help people to come to know Jesus, enable healthy communities to grow and make sustainable social projects possible.

Please select the country in which you are resident for tax purposes. Your tax residence is the decisive factor – regardless of which campus you attend or in which country you work.

Are you unsure which option applies to you due to your living or working situation, or do you have any other questions about giving? Please feel free to email us at [email protected].

  • What is a tithe, and what is an offering?

We believe in the biblical principle of tithing. In Malachi 3:10, God invites us to bring the first ten per cent of our income into His house, the church. Through this practical expression of trust, we honour God and support the vision and work of His church.

An offering is a voluntary financial gift beyond the tithe. One example is our annual Heart for the House offering.

  • What is my giving being used for?

Through your generosity, you contribute to the vision and work of Hillsong DACH. Our vision is to build a healthy church where lives are transformed through Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to build healthy communities, develop purpose-filled followers of Jesus and make a significant social difference. Your giving helps us put this mission into action.

You can find information about how our finances are used in our financial reports on hillsong.de/finanzbericht.

  • How much is the tithe?

The tithe is ten per cent of our gross income.

  • Will I receive a donation receipt?

Yes. Once a year (normally in February), we issue a donation receipt to our donors. To ensure we can correctly allocate your donation and issue you with a receipt, we need your full address.

If you donate via our online form, you can enter your details directly into the form. If you donate by bank transfer, we will use the address from your ChurchSuite account. If you don’t have ChurchSuite, you can just send us an email to [email protected]. If you give cash during the service, please fill in the relevant fields on the donation envelope in full.

If you’re liable for tax in Switzerland, special conditions apply. You can find further information on this under the relevant question.

  • I am resident in Switzerland for tax purposes. What do I need to know?

If you are resident in Switzerland for tax purposes, you can give your tithe and offering to the association “Hillsong Genève”. The association is part of Hillsong DACH and is recognised for tax purposes in Switzerland. This means your donation may be eligible for a deduction on your annual tax return, subject to the applicable requirements.

Your giving continues to support our shared mission as Hillsong DACH. Under the giving options further up this page, select Switzerland. You will find the relevant bank details and giving information there.

If you are unsure which option applies to you because of your living or working situation, please email us at [email protected].

  • Who can I contact with questions about giving?

Please email us at [email protected].

  • How can I change or cancel my recurring donation?

If you set up your recurring donation through our online form, please email us at [email protected]. You cannot change or cancel it yourself through the form. We are happy to help.
If you would like to manage your regular giving yourself in future, you can set up a standing order with your bank instead. You can change or cancel it yourself at any time. You will find the relevant bank details further up this page.

If you already give through a bank standing order, you can change or cancel it directly with your bank.

  • How can I give?

You will find the different ways to give further up this page. First, select where you are resident for tax purposes. This will show you the relevant bank details and payment options, helping you give through the appropriate association and receive the appropriate donation receipt.
Our recommendation: Give by bank transfer. A direct bank transfer is the most cost-effective way for us to receive your donation. Other payment methods incur additional fees. Giving by bank transfer helps us keep these costs low.

For regular giving, you can set up a standing order with your bank. You can change or cancel it yourself at any time.

Unsure which option to select because of your living or working situation? Please email us at [email protected].
