Is God real? Is what we know about Him true? What does He have to do with our lives? The Bible may not answer every question about God, yet it clearly answers this question: Who is Jesus?

Jesus asked His disciples: “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus commended this answer, saying: “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you.” (Read Matthew 15:16–17 NLT.) Jesus knew that who He is – and could be to us – has the power to save us and to transform our lives.

God loves you unconditionally. He knows you and wants to be close to you. He wants the best for you and offers you a fulfilles life that goes beyond death.

By nature, we do not ask about God. We mistrust him and go our own ways: That is what the bible calls sind. Sin separates us forever from God and the life he has in store for us.

God’s son, Jesus Christ, took our place on the cross, taking the consequences of sin upon himself. He died, but rose from the dead. In doing so, he bridged the separation between ourselves and God. That's what we celebrate at Easter.

Jesus has restored the relationship between us and God. We can choose to live with God by accepting this gift through faith and by trusting him. Would you like to do that today?

Accept God’s love. Trust His patient, forgiving and gracious stance towards you. Believe in Him. Invite Him into your life. “I am the Vine, you are the branches,” Jesus says (in John 15:5 MSG). “When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant.” Remain in the intimacy of your life-union with Him. His love is a dwelling place, a shelter, an abode of rest, refreshing, and strengthening. His love is also our example. Jesus commands us: “Love each other as I have loved you.” (John 15:12 NIV). His love is immeasurable. It is patient, gentle and consistently kind. It does not demand its own way. It keeps no record of wrongs. It never stops believing the best for others. It always protects, trusts, perseveres. It never fails.
