Hillsong Church is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all children and young people.
Safety
We have a duty to keep children, young people and grown ups safe.
We want to you to be safe and feel safe.
If you ever feel unsafe or worried you can talk to someone you trust, your leader, your parents or Safe Church.
Respect
Everyone is welcome at Hillsong Church.
Respect is treating everyone with fairness and kindness. Respect is listening to each other and not leaving people out.
Every person is unique and has their own characteristics, strengths and challenges.
At Hillsong everyone can contribute and feel safe to be themselves.
You can be a safe friend who helps and encourages others and speaks up when something is going wrong.
We're Listening
Your thoughts, views and ideas are important.
You can have a say and be involved.
Children and young people are valued part of the team.
We will listen and act on your feedback.
Inform
We will give you information so you know how we work to keep you safe and what you can do if you feel unsafe.
We will help you to know how to speak up if you’re feeling unsafe or something is worrying you.
Your wellbeing is important, we will support you and give you information about support services that can help you.
Raising a Concern
