Dear Friend,
Can you believe we are nearly Colour in London? We cannot wait to host you and we are believing that our time together will be truly memorable as we gather, equip and mobilise the growing Colour Sisterhood.
Every time that we gather as a Colour Sisterhood we seek to be a blessing to the local community within the United Kingdom, with a Local Impact Project. We are always in awe of your generosity as you choose to connect with the needs presented and make a practical contribution.
In 2018, you so generously gave 6,115 backpacks and stationery items plus 94 gift cards and financial donations to the value of £3,952.
The items and vouchers were given to vulnerable young people and families through our partnerships with Fostering & Adoption services, XLP a youth outreach organization, domestic violence shelters and the Refugee Council in London and beyond.
What Can I Do?
THIS YEAR we are seeking to respond and be a blessing for CHILDREN, SISTERS, and NATIONS and there are three simple ways that you can be involved.
We are supporting children entering foster care, leaving a domestic or family violence situation, living in deprived innercity estates, or who have recently arrived in the country, by resourcing them with new childrens books and school stationary sets.
Simply purchase one or more items for children aged 1-12 and bring them in (unwrapped) to our Colour Sisterhood stand at Colour. Or you can purchase from a selection of items online, via our Amazon list.
Bring in a Gift Card of any amount, which will be gifted to vulnerable women and refugees and their children, to assist them with their daily living expenses.
Suggested Cards: Boots, Ikea, Supermarket chains or clothing stores H&M or Zara. Or give towards vouchers via link below.
Encourage a persecuted sister or human trafficking survivor around the world by sending them a loving message and to let them know they are not alone.

Some ideas of what to write are:
• Words of encouragement.
• Let them know you are thinking of/praying for them
• Anything to cheer them up and let them know you believe in them and their ability to overcome.
All letters and cards should be sent to A21’s USA or Greece office, where they will be screened and forwarded to the survivors in our shelter.
Please address your letter generically (ie. ‘Dear Beautiful’ or ‘Dear Friend’).

How Does It Work?
Come and say hello to our team as you drop off your items at the Colour Sisterhood stand at Colour (in the NE & SE Entrance and in the Expo) and take a photo with your girlfriends at the photo wall!
We’ll also be accepting donations for the local impact initiatives and any amount will be gratefully received as we know it is only together we are able to make an impact!
The gifts will be packaged and presented as “a gift from the Colour Sisterhood” through our partners serving vulnerable children and women in the local community, to let them know that there is a company of women across Europe and beyond, who love and believe in them.
