'We're better together'
We’re all on a journey together to become more like Jesus – loving God, loving people, building the church together. Below are a few things we do that will help you get more involved.
Find Your People
As human beings, so much of our personal wellbeing has a direct link to our interaction with others. So, as a church, we regularly hang out together – and almost always around food! These meals take place in groups; most likely in people’s homes, cafes, restaurants or pubs.
Groups are relational, personal and informal. They include having a meal together, praying for one another, and often include a discussion topic that is common to all our Groups.
Jon & Dee Cook
Jon and Dee Cook are the pastors of our Location in Newcastle, where they have been pioneering church for over ten years. Their passion is to see lives transformed through the church. They are dedicated to building people, and have influenced and impacted the lives of many in Newcastle and beyond.
Assistant Location Pastor
Jonny became a Christian on the streets of this city before making our campus his Home. Now Jonny, and his wife Amy serve God alongside Jon and Dee, making sure every element of church life grows and flourishes.

We invite families with babies aged under one-year-old to join us in the auditorium during the service. Ear defenders are available to borrow.
We have a dedicated Family Room which is equipped with quiet space and privacy. Once your baby is happy and settled, you can head back to your seat in the auditorium again.
Kids & Families are a thriving community within our Church who meet both on Sundays and during the week. Through their programs during weekend services Hillsong Kids provides a fun and Jesus-centered Church experience for your kids. At all our locations we also have a Family Room, where mums & dads can enjoy the service and still attend to the needs of their babies (up to 1yr).
