The current Syrian Refugee Crisis is something we simply cannot ignore. Everyday we see the reports and images in the media showing the devastation and magnitude of one of the largest humanitarian crises the world has faced in decades.

During Hillsong Conference Europe 2013, we broached the idea of THE CHURCH making a difference in the crisis that is taking place right the doorstep of Europe. We believe that as the Church, the body of Jesus Christ, we must respond to the needs of the people of Syria. Whilst the world watches on, The Church must have a response to international crises.

The Syria Church Response is a partnership with UNICEF and the Church, which gives individuals, and churches across Europe the opportunity to collectively get involved and impact the lives of affected children. We want to support UNICEF in their work so that millions of children will look to the future full of hope in the midst of war.

The vision is to see churches across Europe unite in one great initiative to make a huge difference in the Syrian Refugee Crisis. If we all play our part and do it together, we can bring hope and a future to the children and people of Syria.
