Joining our Social Impact Team
Before you join one of our Social Impact Teams we need you to read the below requirements carefully and complete each step as instructed. These steps ensure that we fulfil our legal requirements as a registered charity and also ensure that the Social Impact team is the right team fit for you.

Complete the 3 Steps Below
The first step is to complete the Hillsong Refugee Response Application & Declaration accessed via the link below. Once you have completed the form, someone from our team will contact you and arrange for formal reference checks, to request your documents for the DBS check, and to arrange an interview.
In the course of volunteering you may come into contact with and use ‘personal', ‘sensitive personal’, and ‘confidential' information. All Volunteers must handle, store and share this information in line with the Hillsong Privacy Policy and also comply with the relevant data protection laws and regulations.
Please read carefully the Hillsong Data Protection Principles, accessed via the link below, to understand the six key principles of data protection and your responsibilities to follow these in your volunteering role. Then sign and submit the form to acknowlege your agreement to comply with these key principles.
Complete the Hillsong Safeguarding Training. Safeguarding practices help to create a safe and happy environment for everyone. This training takes around 1 hour to complete and is divided into four modules. You do not have to complete all the modules in one go.

Once you have completed all the above requirements please contact your team leader or team oversight, they will then confirm that all the steps have been completed and that you’re ready to join your new team!
