FAQ
Questions and Answers
Q: Can I donate second-hand CLOTHES to the Refugee Response team?
A: Unfortunately second-hand clothes we can’t accept at this time as we do not have a place to store & sort or the man power to get it done. We do partner with organisations that would like your contributions that are still in good, wearable condition:
Hands & Feet Response: Get in touch here
If you would, however, like to help us create Welcome Packs for unaccompanied refugees minors, which do include clothes, please click here
Q: Can I donate FURNITURE for the Refugee Housing project?
A: Logistically it is difficult for us to accept second-hand furniture as we are limited in transport and storage. There are also legal implications that make it difficult BUT if you are still wanting to help a set up a refugee family, you can help us purchase items for the house here
Q: I would like to get involved with the DIY projects, what is required?
A: Please email [email protected] and let us know if you are DBS checked. We do have ad-hoc projects that run as and when is needed. We can put your details on our database for any updates of future projects.
Q: I am not a member of Hillsong, can I still help with all the Social Justice projects?
A: You are more than welcome to join us fixing up the houses, do gardening or donate items.
Q: I am interested in fostering, how can I find out more?
A: Please email us at [email protected] and tell us which campus you go to. We have ‘fostering champions’ at each campus who can give you more detail. If you already Foster, it would be great to introduce you to others who also foster. We are wanting to create a community to support to anyone who fosters. If you can’t foster at this time but would like to support someone who does, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
