Impact Week Summer 2024

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8 ESV

“At a time in my life when I was looking for change, when I was looking to make a difference and share God’s blessings in my life, I was given an impact week list almost 18 months ago today and I can say with my whole heart God meant that for me. I have made friends, laughed and cried. I wouldn’t change a thing. Do it if you can.”

Hannah, Impact Week 2023

What is Impact Week?

As a church we are passionate and committed to empowering and supporting communities who are in need. We believe that as we serve our cities, through practical acts of kindness we can share the love of God.

Last year, many of you helped bless a variety of communities and this time around we hope to help even more people! This could be through joining a team at church, serving within your local community, or partnering with a charity!

Below you will find some of the ways to partner alongside our Church this season!

“Last year we were able to help during Impact Week by sorting through donations given to our Southwest Campus, such as clothes, toys and books. Because we home-educate this suited us as we were able to volunteer our time during the week, and it also became a great teaching moment for my girls. Volunteering for Impact Week doesn’t have to look like taking a huge chunk of time out of your diary, but it’s realising that giving even just 2hrs can make a difference. I would love for there to come a day when there are so many donations that they can’t even be transported to an office to be sorted, but we just set out tables there and then at church and go through them – kids, youth and adults alike. Being the hands and feet of Jesus in such a practical and easy way.”

Thank you

We are so grateful to all of you for playing your part- please continue to lift up our communities, initiatives and cities in prayer.

For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me’.

Matthew 25:42-43 NLT

Hillsong Foundation UK

The Hillsong Foundation UK’s purpose is to enable and finance the Church’s mission. Our aim is to establish the Church in cities across the nation, offering a “Welcoming Home” for everyone to encounter God while actively embodying the teachings of Jesus, both locally and globally. We achieve this through our National Initiatives, Local Initiatives, and Social Impact Initiatives, collaborating with like-minded non-profit organisations in the UK and worldwide to bring awareness and aid to the vulnerable.
