Refugee Housing

Helping refugees find a home in the UK

Do You Have A Poperty For A Refugee Family?

For our Refugee Resettlement and Asylum Seeker Support projects, we are looking for landlords and property owners who can rent out their property for people seeking refuge in the UK (and who have the right to rent).

The property will often be the first home in the UK for a family or individual We could use properties in every shape or size. Rent will be paid by the family or individual based on the Local Housing Allowance rates they receive via benefits and (future) employment .

Properties need to be affordable, in a safe area, in a good condition, have gas and electric certificates and have their own address

If you have a property that could be used for a refugee please email us on [email protected]

Do You Have A Spare Room?

If you have a spare room in your house plus space in your family and heart to welcome a refugee into your home there are a few ways to do so:

Local Authorities are always looking for families who can provide a good and supportive home for young refugees under 18 who have come to the UK by themselves. Through fostering or supported lodging you can provide a home for these teenagers as they find their feet with living in the UK.

Another option is offering your home to ‘Refugees at Home’ who connects adult refugees and asylum seekers to those who have spare rooms. Although not directly linked to us, it is a great way to welcome refugees into your home in a safe way

If you have a room that could be used for a refugee please email us on [email protected]
