Joining the North London Youth Team
Joining the Youth Team is a great and awesome responsibility. We require all prospective Youth Team applicants to complete a number of steps in order to ensure our young people are given the best possible care, to fulfil our legal requirements as a registered charity and also to ensure that the Youth Team is the right fit for you.
Read the below requirements carefully and complete each as instructed. Once you’ve completed all the requirements, you’ll be contacted by a team leader who will confirm your eligibility for team.

You'll need to complete the Hillsong Youth Team Application & Agreement via the link below. Once you have completed the form and agreed to the Hillsong Church Guidelines for Working with Children and Young People, someone from our Team will contact you and arrange for formal reference checks, to request your documents for the DBS check, and arrange an interview with one of our Pastors.
In the course of volunteering you may come into contact with and use ‘personal', ‘sensitive personal’, and ‘confidential' information. All Volunteers must handle, store and share this information in line with the Hillsong Privacy Policy and also comply with the relevant data protection laws and regulations.
Please read carefully the Hillsong Data Protection Principles, accessed via the link below, to understand the six key principles of data protection and your responsibilities to follow these in your volunteering role. Then sign and submit the form to acknowlege your agreement to comply with these key principles.
Complete the Hillsong Safeguarding Training. Safeguarding practices help to create a safe and happy environment for everyone. This training takes around 1 hour to complete and is divided into four modules. You do not have to complete all the modules in one go.

Once you have completed all the above requirements please contact your team leader or team oversight, they will then confirm that all the steps have been completed and that you’re ready to join your new team!
