The child in the manger is the King on the throne.
Throughout this year, we have been discovering the wonder of The Eternal Kingdom and the Everlasting King. This Christmas, we celebrate the moment our King stepped into our world.
Promised through the ages, Jesus came not in earthly splendour, but in humility. Born as a child, given as a Son, He is Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. His Kingdom will never end.
This is the wonder of Christmas: God came near. He came to rescue. He came to reign. And in a world of uncertainty and change, we can find lasting hope and peace in the King whose reign is everlasting.
This Christmas, we invite you, your family and friends to celebrate with us at London Carols at the Dominion Theatre and at our Advent and Christmas services across the nation.
Come and celebrate the King who has come!
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."— Isaiah 9:6

In this year’s story, three wise men follow a mysterious star on a journey that will change their lives forever; but one of their own has chosen a very different path. As the search for a promised King unfolds, old friendships, dangerous choices and unexpected encounters collide in a story about who we choose to follow. Come and be part of the festivities at the Dominion Theatre in the heart of London’s West End.

This Christmas, we will be sharing Christmas Hampers through our Community Grocery, blessing members who would benefit from a little extra kindness and support over the festive season.
We are also encouraging our congregation, from the youngest to the oldest, to purchase Treat Bags to bless someone in their world this Christmas. Whether it’s a friend, neighbour or someone who could use a little extra love, let’s make this season special by showing others they are cared for and remembered.
Ways to give:
This year at Hillsong Newcastle we’re partnering with our Community Grocery and Norah’s North Pole.
Our Community Grocery bridges the gap between food banks and supermarkets, helping keep families fed by providing access to affordable food and wrap-around support to those who need it. This year we’re continuing to support selected families from our Community Grocery by providing 45 luxury food hampers. Please support by donating a Christmas pudding this year!
Norah’s North Pole was established in memory of Norah, whose heart was to make sure that no vulnerable child in the Northeast woke up on Christmas morning without a present. Today, her family continues that mission, working alongside headteachers, social workers and health and social-care professionals to identify children who are facing difficult circumstances and provide them with a Santa sack filled with Christmas gifts.
Our goal as a community is to provide 100 gifts costing around £10 each such as toys, games, books, etc., for children aged 3–13.
Please note that all items are needed at church by Sunday 6th December.
This winter, we’re partnering with a local provider Medaille Trust to support survivors of modern slavery in our community.
As the colder months approach, we’re inviting you to give towards winter essentials that can provide warmth, care and practical support to those who need it most.
You can get involved by making a financial donation. Every gift, big or small, can make a meaningful difference. God bless you!
Please make your donation by Sunday 13th December.
We're partnering again with Oxford Hub to support vulnerable individuals and families in our community. This Christmas, our goal is to provide 60 food hampers to help families in need enjoy a little extra support during the festive season.
You can contribute financially through the giving link below to help us put these hampers together. We're also providing Christmas toys for children in some of these families, helping make Christmas a little more special for them.
You can purchase a child’s toy directly through our Amazon Wishlist. Please select the “gift registry address” at checkout to ensure your gift is delivered to the right place.
Please note that gifts are needed by Saturday 12th December.
We're also partnering with Asylum Welcome, a local charity providing advice and practical support to asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants.
Each month, we open the doors of our Hub to male asylum seekers housed nearby for our Clothes & Conversation Café. It's a space where we provide clothing and toiletries, create opportunities to practise English, and — most importantly — build genuine friendships and relationships. We want every person who walks through our doors to experience the love of Jesus through the way we welcome, care for and connect with them.
This Christmas, we'd love to bless the men who join us with a small Christmas treat bag.
This Christmas we are supporting Torch to equip and bless individuals and families who without help would fall through the gap of existing services. Torch reach vast members of the community, battling a range of issues with practical and pastoral support and life skills.
We are aiming to supply towel and blanket bundles for 100 families, costing £25 each.
This year we will be supporting 100 families and households in Lewisham and Greenwich in partnership with: Greenwich Debt Centre, Safe Families and Lewisham Local.

Gift Aid is a valuable initiative of the UK Government, allowing charities to receive an additional 25p for every £1 donated by UK taxpayers. This boost is achieved by reclaiming the basic rate of tax already paid on your donation. When you make a Gift Aid Declaration, the total value of your donation can increase, and it won’t incur any extra cost to you.
When you make a donation online or via our Giving App, we’ll guide you through the process of registering and claiming Gift Aid. For those who prefer giving through a standing order or bank transfer, we have provided an online declaration form, which can be accessed below.
If you choose to contribute via bank transfer or by using an envelope during one of our weekend services, we’ll request that you create your personal 7-character Giving ID. You can craft this unique identifier using your initials, birthdate, or any combination of characters that suits you.
