Located in the middle of England’s Garden County, we meet in Kent every week at the River Centre in Tonbridge. We look forward to meeting you at one of our Sunday services!
How to get to church
The River Centre
'We're better together'
We’re all on a journey together to become more like Jesus – loving God, loving people, building the church together. Below are a few things we do that will help you get more involved.
Find Your People
As human beings, so much of our personal wellbeing has a direct link to our interaction with others. So, as a church, we regularly hang out together – and almost always around food! These meals take place in groups; most likely in people’s homes, cafes, restaurants or pubs.
Groups are relational, personal and informal. They include having a meal together, praying for one another, and often include a discussion topic that is common to all our Groups.
If you’re new to Church and would like to find out more or simply meet people in Church – Engage is for you.
It takes place every Sunday 15 minutes after each service. Engage is an introduction to who we are as Hillsong Church. Enjoy some refreshments whilst meeting some of the team. They’ll answer any questions you have, introduce you to others and help you get involved in the areas that interest you. Join us this Sunday – we can’t wait to see you there!
Grant & Helene Erskine
Grant was born and raised in Aberdeen and is proud of his Scottish roots. Although he has a professional background in Accounting, it didn’t take long for him to realise that he had a far greater passion for People and building the Local Church. Grant has been a part of Hillsong Church for 18 years, spending time in Sydney, Paris, and London. He now lives in Kent where he and his wife Helene lead our Tonbridge location.
Sam & Sophie Bestmann
Sam & Sophie Bestmann oversee our Youth Ministry, working closely with local schools to make sure all young people have an opportunity to feel as though they belong. Originally from Australia, Sam & Sophie Bestmann have been a part of our church for over 5 years - committed to building peoples lives.
Jacques & Chantal Van Staden
Service Pastors - 11am
Jacques and Chantal are from South Africa and have been part of our church for 12 years. Jacques works as a project manager and Chantal works as a finance manager. They both love people and love seeing the impact the church can have on each and every person.
