Thanks to your generosity over the last few months to the Ukraine Appeal we have been able to provide practical support to our church @HillsongKyiv.

The appeal in which all our global churches take part in we have raised close to £400k so far. It has had a great impact so far, including the distribution of 10 tons of humanitarian supplies such as food and medical items, 2,000 mattresses and much more. The response is coordinated from our hub in Warsaw, Poland and distributed through our own locations and network churches across Ukraine with the help of dozens of volunteers.

Here in the UK, we have encouraged people to join the ‘Homes For Ukraine’ scheme, where UK residents can host Ukrainian refugees in their homes. So far 13 homes have been made available and we have made 10 matches between hosts and Ukrainians. So far 4 families have arrived, and the other matches should arrive in the next few months.

The UK Government has recently announced the ‘Homes for Ukraine’ scheme, allowing individuals in the UK to provide accommodation and support to Ukrainians fleeing the war.

As a church, we encourage anyone who has a spare room or a property to come forward to host Ukrainians. Our global church and our location in Ukraine are actively working on the ground in providing relief and support to those in Ukraine and surrounding region. We hope that through this scheme our church can host those from our church in Ukraine.
