As we watch countless tragedies and wars unfold around the world; Ukraine, The Middle East and Sudan to name a few, we know that we cannot do everything but each of us as part of the global body of Christ can do something. We can be faithful in prayer for our brothers and sisters who are facing persecution and unimaginable fear and desolation.

As a church may we be known as a community of prayer and compassion, standing alongside our neighbours as their hearts may grieve for the loss of loved ones, homes, and the long-term impacts of war. We know that the pains and devastation of this world are very real, but we await an eternal kingdom with no loss or grief and we have a part to play in bringing Heaven to Earth today. So let us pray for the wars to cease, comfort for those who have lost homes, families, livelihoods, and restoration among communities, and the peace of God to reign.

With so much hurt and pain in our world we believe the church can and should make a difference and bring hope to those suffering due to conflict, natural disasters and extreme poverty.

We believe that together, our collective giving can have a significant impact and bring hope to the hopeless, a future to a seemingly lost generation and rebuild nations in peace.
